Here is a herdsire with classic conformation—presence to spare, heavy bone, typey head, proper proportions, straight legs, and coverage from head to toe. Although initially registered as light rose gray, and still matching the LRG color chart, under the new AOBA rules Mr. Truffles is considered light fawn because his blanket has no black or white fiber. He has striking presence, excellent bone and great disposition. His fleece has a deep, bold crimp and excellent handle.

Like his sire, El Chaparron, Mr. Truffles throws statuesque conformation, heavy bone and teriffic coverage. His first two offspring had staple length of over six inches at less than a year.
